By booking a consultation, contacting us for urgent care, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
The Traveler Clinic provides two categories of services:
All services are provided by physicians licensed under applicable law. Services are not a substitute for emergency medical care.
The Traveler Clinic is not an emergency medical service. Our services are designed exclusively for non-life-threatening medical situations. If you are experiencing a cardiac event, stroke, severe trauma, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, or any other acute emergency, call 118 (Italy) or 911 (United States) immediately. Do not contact us for emergency situations.
The Traveler Clinic provides medical services through licensed physicians. However, all medical information provided is for the specific patient in the context of the specific consultation. Nothing on our website constitutes medical advice, and no physician-patient relationship is established by visiting this website alone.
Pre-departure consultations are structured as preparatory care coordination in anticipation of medical services to be rendered by an Italian-licensed physician in the Italian territory. They do not constitute the practice of medicine in the patient's state of residence, except for patients located in New York State, where services are provided under a valid New York State medical license.
Payment for pre-departure consultations is collected in full at the time of booking through Square, Inc. Payment for urgent care services is collected at the time of service.
All fees are listed in US dollars (USD). Currency conversion, if applicable, is handled by the patient's card issuer. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for eligible medical services. Insurance reimbursement is the patient's responsibility; we provide documentation to support claims but do not bill insurance directly.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Traveler Clinic and its physicians shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability to any patient shall not exceed the amount paid by that patient for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
